MIG welding is a versatile electric arc welding process used to join metal parts by heating them to their melting point and adding a filler material.
This process involves feeding a continuous solid wire electrode through a welding gun, which also supplies a shielding gas to protect the molten weld pool from contamination. The electric arc generated between the wire and the workpiece melts both materials, allowing them to fuse together as they cool.
